"Barbara provided our team with sound practical advice and many fresh ideas.
We felt no cultural barriers. Her friendly interactive style during
presentations made listening and following easy. What benefited most from her
visit was our product development side. We were also able to establish
important new contacts thanks to Barbara's excellent network and knowledge of
our market. Barbara is quite capable of handling even the world's quietest
people - Finns."

"It was my professional pleasure to work with and to observe Dr Glacel in
consulting at the highest managerial levels in South Africa. She designed and
implemented a program for the senior management teams of a 300,000+ member
para-statal company (Transnet) on the issues of organizational
transformation and leadership . Her interventions were timely and
thought-provoking; her delivery style was persuasive and often challenging.
Overall, her work achieved great success as it facilitated a difficult
transition from a command and control environment to a more participative,
collaborative approach. This was accomplished at sub-ministerial level in a
pre-democratic South Africa. As such, it was the
precursor to a new way of managing in South Africa. Quite an accomplishment."

"Life Technologies in New Zealand is the remotest part of the far flung
global operations of LTI. Nonetheless, we participated in the Leadership
Development program and experienced the international consulting
skills of Barbara Pate Glacel and her team. Our group, with its blend of
cultures (including our own Maori indigenous people) typifying that of the
greater
New Zealand population, responded extremely well to the expertise and
development skills of this consultant from a far away land! Participants
have adopted the skills learned during this phase, with many of them having
gone on to achieving higher leadership positions both within LTI, and with
other organisations."
