I met Barbara Glacel when she worked with the group managing America's largest oilfield, Prudhoe Bay, on the North Slope of Alaska. Her uncanny ability to influence change in a group of men in a very remote location was exceptional. In an industry known for its resistance to change and in an environment that was totally male-dominated, she successfully sought, developed, and implemented long-lasting organizational and cultural change.
